DBA HIPAA for Humans chatbot ("Chatbot") integrated with Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform and available through the Google Workspace Marketplace. By accessing or using the Chatbot, you agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Scope of Use
- The Chatbot is designed to assist users by providing responses based on internal policy documents.
- The Chatbot is not intended to process or store Protected Health Information (PHI). Users must not input any PHI.
- The Chatbot is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or compliance decisions.
- Users should be advised that only the source policy documents fully and accurately reflect their company's actual policies. The Chatbot does not provide definitive, authoritative, or guaranteed answers; it is designed to help users find and refer to the source documents.
3. User Responsibilities
- Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using the Chatbot.
- Users must follow their organization's policies regarding the use of AI-powered tools.
- Users should review and understand the permissions requested by the Chatbot before use.
- Users must not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the Chatbot's data beyond its intended functionality.
- Individual users who produce work with the assistance of the Chatbot are individually responsible for ensuring the work meets all professional, legal, and ethical standards required by their employer, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
4. Data Collection and Privacy
- The Chatbot processes user queries to generate responses. Query data may be stored and accessed by Matterform and the user's employer for debugging, improvement, and compliance purposes.
- Users acknowledge that their use of the Chatbot is subject to Matterform's Privacy Policy.
- The Chatbot does not share or sell user data for advertising purposes and complies with Google Workspace Marketplace privacy requirements.
- Third-party providers, including Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform, support the Chatbot’s functionality. We ensure these providers meet stringent privacy and security standards.
5. Security Measures
- Communications with the Chatbot are encrypted in transit.
- Access to stored query data is restricted and managed according to industry best practices.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their Google Workspace accounts.
6. Third-Party Services and Compliance
- The Chatbot integrates with third-party services, including Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform.
- Matterform ensures that all third-party services comply with Google Workspace Marketplace requirements.
- The Chatbot may update integrations as needed to remain compliant with applicable policies and laws.
7. Limitations of Liability
- The Chatbot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Matterform is not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Chatbot.
- Users assume full responsibility for how they interpret and apply the Chatbot’s responses.
8. Changes to These Terms
- Matterform reserves the right to update these Terms as necessary to reflect changes in technology, regulations, or our business practices.
- Continued use of the Chatbot after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
